Sensato del Patio, born William Reyna on March 5, 1984 in San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic, is a Dominican rapper and entertainer who was raised in New York City after moving there at age 13. Known for his energetic, humorous, and bilingual performance style, Sensato became a breakout name in Latin urban music in 2010 with “Watagatapitusberry,” featuring Pitbull and Black Point — a novelty track that peaked at #4 on the Billboard Latin Digital Song Sales chart and introduced his one-of-a-kind comedic style to a global audience.
As a member of Pitbull’s Team Pitbull, Sensato collaborated on the 2012 parody “Latinos in Paris” and co-wrote “El Taxi” (2015) with Pitbull and DJ Chino — a worldwide hit that reached audiences across multiple continents. His debut album We Ain’t Even Supposed 2 B Here featured 14 tracks including lead single “Booty Booty” featuring Pitbull. He received a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Urban Song for “Crazy People.”
Pitbull continues to mentor and expose the young artist to the many wonders that music has to offer and has given him the privilege of touring and performing with him on the ’2012 Planet Pit World Tour’ in Canada and Latin America. They have also collaborated on a number of songs including “Latinos in Paris” and his newest single “Crazy People” ft. Sak Noel which he performed as part of the opening number of the 2012 Latin Billboard Awards. “Crazy People” has become an international sensation and has earned Sensato his first Latin Grammy nomination. “It’s funny how years ago my brother told me to tattoo a Grammy Award on my arm to be a constant reminder of what I am working for and now after much hard work and dedication I get nominated for my first official single…God is good,” says Sensato. He was not only nominated for his first Grammy but also had the honor of being the closing performance of the 2012 Latin Grammys.
Sensato has been working diligently on a new album, “We AinT EveN SuppoSeD 2 B Here” scheduled to be released Spring 2014 under Pitbull’s label, Mr. 305 Inc. Audiences want variety without compromising the music and it seems they have found it in the new sound of Sensato.
