About Lucy Grau

Lucy Grau is a Miami-born Latin vocalist with deep Cuban roots. Born at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach in July 1974, she is the daughter of Cuban exiles who raised her in South Florida surrounded by the music of their homeland. Her love of singing began at age 7 in the choir of a local Methodist church. She later studied piano, musical theater, and dance before discovering tropical music — the genre of her Cuban heritage — at age 17.

Lucy built a career as one of South Florida’s most versatile Latin performers, singing fluently in both English and Spanish while staying true to the salsa and tropical rhythms of her roots. Her album Alocada, produced by Carlos Infante and recorded entirely in Miami, showcases her powerful voice and her authentic connection to the Latin sound. Her hits “Last Dance” and “On the Radio” have earned her steady radio airplay throughout the region. Throughout her career she has shared the stage with many celebrated artists in the Latin music world.
